Description
El Borracho — card number 25 in the classic Lotería deck — is one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in Mexican folk culture. The stumbling man, bottle in hand, leaning against a doorframe has appeared on kitchen tables, backyard parties, and family game nights across generations of Mexican and Mexican-American households. That image carries real nostalgic weight, and this canvas brings it off the card and onto your wall in full vibrant color.
The bold pink backdrop, tile-patterned floor, and flat graphic line work capture the retro illustration style that defines traditional Lotería iconography. It reads instantly to anyone who grew up calling out "¡El Borracho!" and holds genuine visual charm even for those discovering the tradition for the first time. This is Mexican folk art with a pop-art sensibility — playful, culturally grounded, and unmistakably statement-worthy.
Whether it anchors a living room gallery wall, adds personality to a bar cart nook, or becomes a conversation piece in a studio or game room, El Borracho delivers warmth, humor, and heritage in equal measure. Printed with archival, fade-resistant inks on premium gallery-wrapped canvas, this piece arrives ready to hang in multiple sizes. Choose your size and give your walls something worth talking about.

Canvas Size Guide
Choosing the right size makes all the difference. Sizes are written width × height: a 12" W × 18" H canvas hangs vertically, and an 18" W × 12" H canvas hangs horizontally. Each product page lists the exact sizes available for that piece.

Most designs come in these four sizes.
| Size | Price | Best for |

| 18" × 24" | $109.99 | Home offices, bedrooms, above a desk or console |

Other sizes on select designs
Some pieces are made in other proportions to fit the artwork. You'll only see these sizes on the product pages that offer them.
- Square: 12" × 12" ($49.99), 16" × 16" ($89.99), 24" × 24" ($129.99)
- Large 4:5: 32" × 40" ($229.99)
- Panorama: 48" × 24" ($229.99)
- Small: 8" × 10" and 11" × 14" ($49.99)
How to choose the right size
- Measure your wall first. Your canvas should fill about 60–75% of the available wall space above furniture.
- Consider what's below it. Above a sofa or bed? Go 24 × 36 or 32 × 48. Above a desk or console? 18 × 24 or smaller.
- Living room or main space? Start at 24" × 36". Anything smaller can get lost.
- Office or bedroom? 18" × 24" is big enough to set the mood without overwhelming the space.
- Small accent or gallery wall? 12" × 18" pieces work great in clusters or tight spots.
- When in doubt, go bigger. A canvas that's too small for the wall always looks off.
