Description
La Bandera — card No. 16 in the beloved Mexican Lotería game — is one of the most culturally resonant images in Latin American folk tradition. The Mexican tricolor flag, rendered in the game's iconic bold-outline illustration style against a warm golden background, carries the pride, heritage, and visual language that generations of families have gathered around. This canvas wall art brings that deeply rooted symbolism off the card table and onto your wall.
Lotería art has evolved from a traditional pastime into a powerful expression of Mexican identity and Chicano culture, appearing in murals, streetwear, tattoos, and gallery spaces worldwide. La Bandera sits at the intersection of patriotism and nostalgia — a piece that speaks to anyone who grew up calling out cards, celebrating Día de la Independencia, or simply carrying pride in Mexican heritage through everyday life.
This gallery-wrapped canvas is printed with archival, fade-resistant inks that preserve the artwork's saturated greens, whites, and reds with lasting clarity. The piece arrives ready to hang and is available in multiple sizes, making it an easy anchor for a living room gallery wall, a dining room accent, or a bold statement in any cultura-forward space.
Bring a piece of Mexican cultural iconography home — La Bandera looks equally powerful solo or paired with other Lotería-themed prints.

Canvas Size Guide
Choosing the right size makes all the difference. Sizes are written width × height: a 12" W × 18" H canvas hangs vertically, and an 18" W × 12" H canvas hangs horizontally. Each product page lists the exact sizes available for that piece.
Our standard sizes
Most designs come in these four sizes.
| Size | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 12" × 18" | $59.99 | Bedrooms, offices, hallways and gallery walls |
| 18" × 24" | $109.99 | Home offices, bedrooms, above a desk or console |
| 24" × 36" | $149.99 | Living rooms, dining rooms, above a sofa or bed |
| 32" × 48" | $229.99 | Feature walls and large living spaces |
Other sizes on select designs
Some pieces are made in other proportions to fit the artwork. You'll only see these sizes on the product pages that offer them.
- Square: 12" × 12" ($49.99), 16" × 16" ($89.99), 24" × 24" ($129.99)
- Large 4:5: 32" × 40" ($229.99)
- Panorama: 48" × 24" ($229.99)
- Small: 8" × 10" and 11" × 14" ($49.99)
How to choose the right size
- Measure your wall first. Your canvas should fill about 60–75% of the available wall space above furniture.
- Consider what's below it. Above a sofa or bed? Go 24 × 36 or 32 × 48. Above a desk or console? 18 × 24 or smaller.
- Living room or main space? Start at 24" × 36". Anything smaller can get lost.
- Office or bedroom? 18" × 24" is big enough to set the mood without overwhelming the space.
- Small accent or gallery wall? 12" × 18" pieces work great in clusters or tight spots.
- When in doubt, go bigger. A canvas that's too small for the wall always looks off.
